·No modifications or trimming required. You just need take off your stock air deflector and keep your stock nuts aside, then install new fairing side covers.

-When air flows around a moving object, it must accelerate because the flow path around the object is longer than its length. For winglets, this accelerated flow around the curved nose of the fairing is an excellent choice because the potential for generating lift increases in the square of the airspeed.

-It seems that the new concept is being applied to the downforce problem, that is, the vortex lift problem. In aircraft such as the F-16, the rapidly rotating vortex flows from the forward extension of the wing (called glove blades) back and forth on the wing. Such a vortex has a very low pressure at its core (a tornado is just a dangerous natural vortex). By reducing the pressure above the wing, it can be roughly doubled at a high angle of attack (for example, 30 degrees). This lift is not free, it requires power to push the angled wings and vortex system into the air.

-Safety considerations limited the length of the winglet, so designers increased the number of airfoils to form "stacked" stacked airfoils, all of which generate downforce by deflecting the maximum possible air upward.
